    Hi,

Just installed X5 SBE on one of my PC’s, moved up from version 12.

In version 12 on the colour palette on the right when i hover the mouse over a colour is gives a name i.e: Red, Black, Powder Blue etc.

    In X5 its showing RGBs i.e: RGB000, RGB25500.

How do I show colour names i.e: Black, Red like in our version 12.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like you need to change the palette to the default CMYK one

Wot Glenn said, X5 definatly shows the colour names on the pallets, even the Roland colour library one shows the colour names.

    Hi,

    Thanks for response.

When I right click on docked CMYK palette > show colour names. The colour names do appear but the palette then becomes undocked.

When i re-dock the palette they change back to CMYK0000 etc. Not a big problem I was just hoping to dock the palette and have names showing.

The docked Roland Versaworks pallete does show 100% CutContour, 100% RDG_White, Gloss, Metallic Silver.

In Draw goto windows – dockers – colour palette manager, find the default palette and drag it up to the BOTTOM position of My pallettes. That should bring the names back when you roll over. SP2 is required
