• COREL X3 HELP

    Hi All

    Can anyone help i have got a bit of text that i have converted to curves so that i can alter it, now i want to fit the text to path but i can not do it because its now curves! i need to fit it round the edge of a circle ?

    Well your gonna need to turn it back into to text to do that or its letter by letter placement around a curve?

    just thought of a way to place each letter correctly but be buffferfd if i can explain it.

    There is a tool with the A, this is the artistic text tool…. you will require a keyboard to type it out 🙄

    I think there might be a macro to fit objects to path and might do the trick

    yes that script is likely to do it… i forgot about that one.

    I don’t mean to be rude, but by the time you typed it out again it would have only taken two seconds, quicker then typing a post on here.

    Unless there was a good reason not to I would take Dave’s advice and type it in again. I would also make a copy and convert that to curves and save them both.

    After years of these I type the required text and then make a copy to be turned into paths. That way I can always revert back to the original.
