Anyone here help me create the attached .eps file to a Gerber .plt file?

I’ve no problem converting it to use CMYK foils but I’d prefer to use spot foils, mainly because it’s cheaper 😀

Just as important would be an explanation of how to do it.

    Phew, this learning curve!

    Cheers

    John

PS I also have the file in .ai format

John you have four colours+ white so cost in cymk should be similar.
any way I dont use omega, but in sign lab I would just drag the spot colour from the palette onto the cwyk colour,Maybe its similar in Omega
I have done it in signlab, (colours are relevant to the foils though) but dont know how it will open, but give it a go You could use silver or white vinyl also.

The black I would overprint to avoid any registration problems.

Gonna give that a go now Peter – thanks for the tip.

They’ve provided me with the Pantone colour ref and I’ve done a close match with the Gerber spots.

One day, soon I hope, I’ll look back at my posts and think. I can do that now 😀

I would do it this way but still learning omega….

Select the colour you want to change, click on the image fill button in the tool bar and change the colour type to spot, you can then select the foil you want to use from the foil palette.

    Hope this makes sense…
