Having recently moved premises, i have been trying to get a decent quote 🙄 for Company insurance ie:contents, public and employers.

After being told by a well known company that i couldn’t be insured because the graphics i put onto the sides of vehicles might fall off and kill someone, i gave up.

i know that every insurance premium will differ, but is there a company that at least know what signmakers do, or, which someone could recommend?

the best quote so far is £2500 a year, which to be honest is quite steep i thought for what i’ve got.

i think because we are a limited Company doesn’t help matters.

    any views?

Not knowing how big your company is but I think that is expensive.

There is only 3 of us but we only pay £32 a month. That includes the premises, equipment and public liability up to £10million.

    Tony.
I had the same problem at my last renewal.

They were making all sorts of reasons up, why not to insure me.

Finally got one, but cost double we were paying before. Good look in the search.

There was a thread on this subject some time ago but I haven’t got time to look for it now.

We have a motor trade policy which covers everything. Premises, equipment, employer liability and road risks. Cost £12,000 this year. We have six employees including me.

Needless to say, I am interested in alternatives.
