Hi i have been asked to do a colour change wrap on this 20 footer box (not the cab) all to yellow plus lettering, it has to be turned around in 2 days, the panels are all straight so not that hard and no curves etc to work around.. is £2500 + VAT enough or too little?

I would be delighted with £2.5k for that but doubt I could get it round here

Will a good polymeric be good enough?

cheers pete, Im the same gary id be lucky too but they are in a flap to get this done in 2 days and they want to land it here on tuesday, other work regardless so i think they should pay a bit extra for distruping the on going jobs, plus i gotta think about overtime for staff etc.. id reacon it will be closer to £2000 when the haggling is finished but wanted to know if it was to much to go in at £2500

i will use KPMF wrap vinyl as a supplier over here can do this at a cheaper price than a cast vinyl and its a good bit heavier etc so should spead up the fitting

Johns get a Roll of Avery 700, It’ll do that job no problem and a fraction of the price, and will still have a nice gloss

    Hi

Ian’s right on that, whether Avery 700, or another polymeric – don’t think there is any need to use cast/wrapping film for that job. The usually thicker polymeric will be easier to apply than a thinner cast with permanent adhesive, and a repositionable wrapping adhesive isn’t needed as its all flat panels. You might get the latter on slightly quicker but the extra cost of the media will outweigh the speed benefit.

    Cheers

usually i would agree guys but im getting the kpmf stuff at stupid money, and i thought because i need to rattle this one out first in a very short space of time then it would keep the job on a good time scale
