Good stuff there….love the lighting, did you design or just fabricate?
-
Some Top Notch work there Colin… very well done.
Particularly like the Templeman fascia / projector… and the Lighting Feature.thanks for taking the time to post your work mate.

if you look in the fourth window on the new bengal, there is a health and safety officer!
-
Good work. Well spotted H&S man….
All the best for 2010. -
really cool
Love the transformation of the Indian Curry House
Looks very up market nowDave: How do you know he’s a H & S officer? Or are you doing your UFO suppositions? 🙂
-
Very nice work but Bengal Cottage is nice but really looks like a bank. I know thats probably not your fault though. The rest are great.
-
Thanks for comments Dave – the health and safety man (you look at pictures too closely by the way) was actually the manager of the bookmakers opposite who was not a very nice character my lead fitter is a West indian guy and that idiot was jibing him all day – but my guy kept his cool as usual.
I would probably agree with you Martin that the column clad is not totally in keeping with the restaurant (colour choice was the clients likes the bling)
But we had to do something as leaving the hideous tiling was really not an option.

i love the transformation of the bengal cottage too, makes a great difference. i just feel all the text is a bit too large… i personally would drop it all to about 80-85% of its orginal size.
-
I agree with you Rob
I normally allow plenty of room for things to breath however the client was really hooked into bigger is better and wouldn’t be swayed and he was paying the money !
It does look better in real life as the sun is giving quite a deep shadow on the picture which doesnt help the cause.

What material did you use for the cladding on the Bengal Cottage job? How is it fixed to the wall? Was it all cut and profiled on site?
Thanks, Owen
