Had a great walk today near Abergavenny, quite foggy but not too cold and the mist lifted just towards the end as we came down the Sugar Loaf back in to Abergavenny 😕 The Blorenge, very steep and slippery, about 1600ft. Then climbed the Sugar Loaf, just under 2000ft. A good 12 miler and on to a lovely couple of pints in Aber after. What a good day 😀

i don’t know which hills in particular you mean but, there are some amazing sights / views from that area, i’ve taken both the little steam train up to Devils bridge, and driven up there from brynammman (bottom of the black mountain, brecon beacons), breathtaking!

These two are just outside Abergavenny on the eastern fringe of the Brecon Beacons.
Yes, when the weather is clear the views are fantastic but unfortunately we didn’t get any today 🙁
I’ll be doing these again in March plus 1 other, The Skirrid, in a Three Peaks Trial Challenge walk of 20 miles and 5000ft of ascent.
