Appreciate that I’ll have a look. What’s the down falls to cutting directly on toughened glass. And how long will the glass last

Your blades will blunten quicker. But assuming your glass is well supported should last years. I have one piece that is over 9 years old which gets taken on site when its needed.

Glass will cost more but is the best option in my opinion.

    Cheers Gary.

I’ve got the glass turning up today. 6mm toughened.
But I wasn’t sure if I would need a cutting Matt. But if u just cut on the glass ill save my self £165 on buying a Matt from jag.

    Cheers Adam

Do a search for polypropylene on the boards – 8×4 sheets dirt cheap. Last for YEARS and take hundreds of thousands of knife cuts without falling to bits.

OK, so it’s not clear, but it won’t blunt your blades.
