clear application tape. what are your views?
Hi board
I was wondering has anyone used clear application tape.
I bought some in and used it today. Im not sure if I liked it. It’s very hard to tear
And doesn’t feel good when applying.
Am I being silly or has anyone else had the same views on the stuff. -

Sally! – it’s the best thing invented since ‘welding’ in software packages…
don’t knock it – it is aweful stuff to tear/handle as it expands in the heat and crinkles in the cold but once you start using it to align multi-colour work you’ll never go back…
that and silicone impregnated squeegee covers – luv ’em…

I have to agree with Mike, we would be lost without it. It did take me a while to get use to it but wouldnt be without it now.
Some brands seem to be easier than others, so you might need to shop about abit. -
thanks guys i thought it was probably somthing i would have to get used to.
it is much better to lay up like you said. its really just the tearing bit that bugs me the most.
