  • classy design help please with a vauxhall van?

I have a client who has had a logo designed consisting of a set of blinds inside a box along with his business name.

He has asked that I use this design on his brand new Astra van. In his words "he wants something Classy" not overdone – minimalist.

In the first example I decided to extract his business name from the logo and give this prominence on the van. However, on seeing this he has decided that he wants the logo itself to feature prominently on the main panel as shown on the second picture (and before I get a row from Jill – I just want to point out that he wants the "Tel." to remain). Now that he has seen this he is still not happy – and I am at a loss as to what to suggest. His own thought are to now stretch his logo along the length of the main panel but I’m not convinced.

    Any ideas 😕

Phill I think the only way you could elongate that, would be put more slats in the blind, that at least would make his name legible I know the panel at the back drops to 13 or so inches.

I think it might look well elongated, but not the full length of the panel.

Also, I may be wrong but a colon can replace a full stop……so I wouldnt use it on Tel

Thanks Glen – I hadn’t thought of doing it that way.

Harry – I’m sure you’re right. I think I’ll remove the full stop (and maybe even the "Tel" if I can get away with it).

Like Glenns’s idea……………wonder what t would look like cut to the line at the top of the panel on both sides.

Definitely try and convince him Phil….the ‘Tel looks really wrong on that style of layout.
Tell him Jill will be round to beat him with a 5ft ‘L’ in Brush Script!!! 😀 😀
