Took a picture of this the other day in Glasgow…
Thought it was so bad I loved it… you got to think about what was going on in the guys head at the time when doing this “to bring in customers”?
I love how his imagination runs riot by filling in the centres of the letters and changing some words to red…

    :lol1:
Is the car wash battery operated?
    Is the owner bisexual?
Do they play AC/DC on overhead speakers?
That sign looks American to me.

Two colour work always adds a touch of class.
Good use of the whole format, we wouldn’t want any wasted space around the edges.
I believe it’s on a recycled board, very kind to the environment.
And isn’t it nice to see that craftsmanship with a brush is alive and well?

A great example of Timeless classic rock if there ever was one.
Looks like they have stopped touring now a pity.

Forbie, if you ever cross the pond in February,
I will take you to the fireman’s ball in Mars.
    (with Stevo of course)
It is an annual banquet held at the VFW.
My cousin’s band plays there & they do all the AC/DC tunes.
The fire chief puts his necktie on his head like Rambo,
and plays the meanest air guitar you ever saw.
It is truly a sight to see.
The beer flows and the rednecks get all goofy.
I get to attend because I do their firetrucks.
Most in attendance would probably give that sign a big thumbs-up!

Hey Rob, why not set a new design competition to makeover this sign.
I know it’d be a challenge to improve on such a master piece but we’re a game lot 😀
