We’ve had two jobs recently that required chrome vinyl.

I can’t remember the brand we used on the first one, but weeded terribly.

Today we’ve done a van with Aslan external chrome, cut well.

When installing the vinyl on a minibus on glass and the body work, we’ve ended up with all manner of bubbles in the vinyl.

Removed it and done it again, new squeegee, took our time, a slight improvement but far from perfect. The normal vinyl we applied has gone down perfect.

Curious as to what is the perfect technique for applying the more rigid vinyls, like chrome and reflective, any little imperfection appears like mount everest as they’re so thick and unforgiving?

    Hi

I have seen that some chrome vinyls can come with a clear external cover on them that needs removing before applying this being left on can cause problems not sure if this is the case with aslan..
