Posted by Marcella Ross on December 14, 2005 at 10:46 am

Just wondered how many of you are having (or had) a christmas works night out? And can I come …… I’m self employed 😥 my works night out is me and a bottle of brandy! 🙂
Perhaps we should have organised a UKSB christmas night out! (drink1) :funky: :pink: :drink4:

We had our Christmas night out at Speedkarting in Warrington. I invited a few sign companies and colleagues and had a great night karting. I didn’t pay for them all but invoiced them for it so it helped them give their staff a Xmas bonus so to speak. :car:

That sounds like a good day out Dave. I’ve never been karting but always fancied it.
John, I think there are a good few of us relatively near to Glasgow. Where are you?

normally I go to my friends xmas night out. She owns a garage and MOT station and when she organises their night out she includes me. But this year she’s in Oz for 3 months 😥 😥 😥 not back until February. But I’m sure the 2 of us will make for lost drinking time! 😀

But this year she’s in Oz for 3 months 😀

where abouts Marcella. If she is in Queensland at the mo she’ll be noticing the heat now.

Got a mate just returned from 3 months in scotland/wales/england and france. Reckons the cold was almost too much to bear for a true blue Queenslander. It must be the same when you scotts leave your ‘normal weather’ and land in Oz on a 40 deg c day 🙄

Hope she is not in sydney tho with the ethnic riots happening there now. 🙁

About 90 minutes drive from Melbourne.

    Some more info I found;

    Quick facts:

    Population approximately 455

    110 kilometres east of Melbourne

    Wine and local produce

    Galleries and cafes.

One of the most picturesque towns in the West Gippsland region, Neerim South is set in the hills at the base of Mt Baw Baw. Neerim South is a busy tourist town servicing the snow traffic in winter and the gourmet traveller year-round. It is home to interesting art and craft galleries in attractive surroundings and is popular for those wanting a short break at any number of quality B&Bs in the surrounding countryside. While in Neerim South, make sure you visit the Village Bakehouse for a range of breads baked in the original wood fired oven built in 1880.

Nearby, the Tarago Reservoir is a pleasant location for a picnic and scenic drives through the delightful lush dairying country are also a popular and relaxing activity in the area.

A lovelly part of the world. My brother in law lives not far from there…

    Another brainwave (-)

Wot about a “Virtual” christmas party.

We could all meet up one night in a chat room. Everyone brings their own bacardi breezers and we could set up web cams for more personal interaction.

If we’re really lucky, after a few drinks, Marcella might even get her t1ts out again 😀

What were you doing when you imagined that Phill? NO, ON SECOND THOUGHTS I DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!!! 😕

I’m having my Chrimbo do next Thursday. That’s the day when my girlfriend is going on her works do. I’ll be in my shed on my own with a bottle of Whisky and a mince pie, Scotch Whisky, of course.

I already had a christmas party at work. They had a hypnotist there and my girfriend told everyone I work with she likes to have her @r$e spanked. 😳
I am going to another party tomorrow night, hopefully there will not be any hypnotists there!

When my dad was a young man on a shearing team here many moons ago, he was hypnotised as part of a travelling country show.

He thought he was an action hero, so started climbing the backdrop in the theatre. They had to stop the show to encourage him to come down.

Funny thing is my dad hates heights, so they could not ‘wake him up’ until they got him down, but being an action hero, he was not convinced he needed to come down.

My family tell me it was quiet entertaining at the time.
