Hi there i have just introduced myself and now my first post!!!!

I have been working with vinyl for 3 years now and i am confident in what i do(Not much point if i was not eh!)

I have a fleet of vans coming up 90 in total and i have designed the artwork etc. Now they want chevrons on the back of their vans Please help me. I really don’t know where to start. I have heard that you can purchase slit rolls of 150mm. is this the best way to do the work.

Any info would be greatly received and put to good use.

    Thanks
    Kieron

What material is it? I assume reflective, but is it reflexite, diamond grade or just a regular ‘vinyl’ type?
Reason I ask is that you can make the kits yourself if it is only the normal reflective. It isn’t that difficult and it would mean more money in your pocket!

First of all thanks for the quick responses. I am truly amazed.

It will be diamond reflective. Also how hard is it to fit these? Again i have never done this before

Kieron, make sure you do you homework properly on this one as with a fleet of vans to do it could end up costing you a lot of money if you get it wrong.
Speak to WM Smith as they are very good and will keep you right about what you need. As others have said they do the kits which is probably the best way to go. Diamond grade needs to be edge sealed when cut and although I have read that some people have done this themselves I wouldn’t want to be taking a chance with a fleet of vans.

Thanks. Just asking as i may need to fit myself or just supply the work for someone else. I know what i would rather do though!!!

Get the kits made then. Diamond grade is easy enough to fit. Get the first bit right and the rest is a doddle.
