    Hi there everyone,

I’m glad I’ve found where you have been meeting up now !
Just a few days ago I said to a friend that it was a pity there wasn’t a really good signmakers forum site (particularly in the uk) as there seem to be loads in the states.
He then explained the intricate details of google search criteria and lo and behold there it was !

Anyway just thought I’d say hello to everyone else so I can hopefully gain some usefull info as well as give a bit too.

I started my own sign business 11 years ago and have built up a thriving little business – no time for christmas shopping/cards yet ! I dont really specialise in any one type of sign but really like to get my teeth into anything unusual or challenging. But I can be talked into doing the odd foamex sign with aluminium frame or site board !

I can see there is a lot of useful info here (just spent ages reading the versacam posts with interest) so I will have to trawl through and catch up a bit I guess.

Anyway, nice to have somewhere to come for a chat/advice etc, keep up the good work, I’m off to get another glass of wine ๐Ÿ˜€

    Cheers all,

    Nigel

    Welcomes to Nigel! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m beginning to discover more and more signboard members who are into wine! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ At this rate, there’ll be a new forum, Wine Lovers Unite! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I have to admit, I love german white wine and I possibly (okay always) drink a little too much ๐Ÿ™„

Anywho, signboards in great Nigel, loads of help on methods, materials and suppliers, not to mention new techniques! ๐Ÿ™‚ Sounds by the experience you have, you’ll be doing the demos soon tho ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Cheers, Dewi

    Hi Nigel,

You have found the place to be, a bit different to me as you have had 11 years at it but I bet you’ll still get a lot out of the site…

    Timmy….

    This canโ€™t be bad Rob.
New to the site, gold access member already, Photograph up, and likes a glass of wine, should fit in real well.
Lives in โ€œA small house in Warwickshireโ€ thatโ€™ll be about 1ยฝ miles from the University as the crow flies then (I know these things). ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

    Welcome Nigel.

Now youโ€™ve found this win bar where we all hang out your only problem will be staying away long enough to get some work done ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜†

    Alan,

You’re probably right there, I’m sure its much more appealing to log on and chat with others during the daytime instead of getting the work done !
Are you telepathic/psychic or have you cheated and looked at my website for the address ??

Nice to have a warm welcome from others too – I’m off to finish the last of the wine up !

    back soon,

    Nigel

I don’t mind the odd sip now ‘n’ then
I keep getting bottles of overproof rum from Jamaica as presents

Funny enough I’d just had a drop before I logged on. I think you’ll find this post still edible, eligible! (<( (<( (<(

Ice and lemon with that sir? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Looking at the title of this thread, everyone should know our names and Carla should be bringing round the wine, cokes and sherry on a tray any minute ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Cheers, Dewi

    John,

I have to admit to being a bit of a wine novice really – I know what I like but there again I can be fairly easy to please (with some things anyway !).
So I’m affraid I am not really well enough versed to have an in depth wine chat ๐Ÿ˜ฅ sorry…

Oh no theres a large Ashby Trade Sign Supplies delivery just turned up – better go and give them a hand unloading it !

    catch you later…
