Just thought i’d share this one with you guys (and girls! sorry) this stuff:

is available from betterware.co.uk (some of you will probably get a catalogue through the door occasionally. Its about £3 a bottle but it is a lot better than some of the pro. stuff we paid a lot more for. Its safe to use on plastics, foam board and banners, doesn’t smell to bad (in fact in smells citrussy!)

It removes all sorts of stuff from adhesive to grease, crayon marks and even lipstick (could come in handy! 😉 ) from your clothes too.

    Just try it!

got to say it doesn’t seem very dangerous, doesn’t make my chest tight (some of the stuff at work does!) and I’ve had all over my hands but no problems. I haven’t had any experience of it in my eyes, I’ll squirt some in tommorrow and let you know how it goes 😀

I think this one goes back to the vinyl’s being re-branded. Ive had countless guys come in to me selling me removers. Guess what they all smell like citrus. Maybe the same stuff a different bottle… who knows?
Anyway, what I can say is ive tried lots.. Rapid tack you name it and I always end up buying a big can of “tar & glue remover” very cheap also…
I can give the proper details and prices if you wish on Monday but this stuff is used by car valeting people and the like… works a dream.

One time we had 80 vans to put the reflective chevrons on the rear of the Glasgow council vans. Before we could do this we had to remove all the badges and the foam stick adhesive tape… this stuff is a nightmare to move because of the foam on the rear of it…. Anyway we tried all the normal methods and nothing… out comes a valet guy for a fly smoke… sees the stress im under and says what’s up? I tell him and he says, “here, try this. Spray a little on and go onto the next van. Give it five minutes and come back… I did and off it came… “Brilliant” I said and haven’t looked back!
