reason i mentioned was signwaves do some nice low costing swing signs with solid rubber bases. start about £38 upto large water filled ones with small wheels at about £68

Got some plastic bulders tressles from Focus Do-it All, printed the panels and stuck them onto the tressles. Cost of tressles: £6.50p each 😎

Did anyone see the ‘Hinge Handle’ from DTP Supplies at Sign UK? Got a sample sent last week, and for a very economical board, it looks to be OK. Similar price to Dave’s idea from B&Q.

BTW for proper A-boards I don’t think you can beat Signwaves Trade, as has been said, request a poster display, put your prices (+ signage as extra) next to each one, customer chooses himself!

made a custom a board with the hinges from DTP, i thought they were really good just to attached to two panels, didnt think much of the feet though (optional extra)

i’ll post a pic of the finished product in another post[/img]

Amari have started doing A-boards, have a variety of styles and sizes.

They stock them at their base in Uddingston.

EDIT – Changed Motherwell to Uddingston, just incase anyone else wants to pedantic and then delete their posts 🙄

No Rob, they are by another company. Talking of the flexible boards, I saw them at Sign UK last year, and they were a really economical price. This year they were much more expensive……

    thanks for the feedback lorraine…
i cannot blame companies for trying to get more fro there product, but like us all… we do come under the mag glass when our prices rise for
    no real reason!
i didnt like the boards look as such, but thought them an excellent low cost alternative. however, if they go back up into the costing of other budget boards they will loose their appeal!
