    Hi,

I am having trouble with a customer, I made him around 5x large chalkboards with ‘Chalboard Vinyl’, The supplier told me that you can use both pens and chalk on them as they were going outside. I have tried a few different products but can’t seem to remove the white pen that the customer has used. I got told to use Mr Muscle window cleaner but it didn’t totally remove the pen.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

Whoops….You wont get chalk pen off completely ,it will always leave a stain
trust me i only write on painted chalkboards its easier to repaint nice and fresh

Jamie, never used the stuff myself but do remember a thread on here a long time ago about it where people were saying you had to be careful what sort of pen you used, think the solvent based pens were more of a problem than other types.

I think I have a solution. To cut the chalkboard vinyl off and spray paint the dibond with undercoat then chalkboard spray paint…. I don’t know if you can paint dibond but I have a sample bit to test…

    Thanks
