Can anyone point me in the right direction for an official looking wording/layout and maybe a vector camera image for a sign warning people that premesis are CCTV controlled – I think there was a good example in a post some months ago.

    Mornin John,

Attached a cctv one we did for a local council.
Due to the Human Rights Act, because the person using a cctv system is recording images of people without their consent (sad isn’t it) the sign has to say who is operating it, why they are operating it, i.e. to protect property and staff, and a contact number of the company operating the system. Without this info on the sign, the operating company could be caught out by the Human Chuffin Rights Act. 👿

I did a load for an industrial estate a while ago, most of the signs just had a picture of a camera with 24 hour cctv in operation but the two signs at the enterances to the estate had to have all the detail Dave has mentioned.

I’m just waiting for someone to get away with breaking in because when they go to court they say that when they climbed over the security fence the sign they saw didn’t have all the relevant details on it !!!!!
