Carved Signage: Partridge House
Just finished this one.
Carved HDU, finished in Urethane and Gilded in gold.
Scroll is routed from 1/4″ aluminum. Posts are 2″ aluminum tube.
I designed the sign and scroll and outsorced the carving and Gilding. I painted the bracket and post with auotmotive urethane.Critique welcome as always.

Peter, Now that you’ve mentioned it, i see what you mean about the posts. Kinda like my three legs… one is Much shorter.
The Finials are bought – DuraCap is the Brand. They’re HDU… and not cheap! -

seems a shame for me to give any kind of crit, constructive or not…
but… i would have scaled down all the text etc on the sign to about 80% of original size.thanks for taking the time to post your work mate… 😉
