I haven’t seen it in 1220. Hexis do a few styles but all 610mm.

following sort of in keeping with this post, i need some carbon vinyl, but my usual supplier doesnt have the exact patter i need to match in with existing real carbon fibre material. I found some on the net, but stupidly didnt save the site, now i cant find it again. Its got to be black carbon with the silvery shadowing. and the weave needs to be of the diagonal style, rather than the straight plain chequered look. It has to be this one to match in with the real exposed carbon already on the body work. hope you can help guys, oh and the width doesnt really matter, 610 ideally.

I just got samples off the companys mentioned here and they all seem to be diferent. Some are quite thick and some are quite thin.I thought it would all be the same as it is all carbon fibre.
Maybe you could do the same

My local Spandex distributor does it in 610. Its more like a foil so I don’t know how conformable it would be. Only £6 approx per metre too. 😎

Only picture I have of it

They’re in Northern Ireland but I can give you the number if you want. I would imagine most Spandex distributors would carry the same stock though

Dorotape do 1220wide Carbon Effect £16 a meter though. It is cast and has a 5-7 outdoor life span. Done a few car bonnets with it and it’s good stuff. If you ask them they will send you a A4 sample and intro pack of all there other products.

    Cheers

    Ewan.
