    I have just bought a reg plate L1NYL isn’t it amazing how alike L’s and V’s are?!! or can be!! can anyone help- I need to make my own plates- does anyone have the correct typeface for the older plates ie L reg- different font from the new 51 and 02 plates. If not can anyone set as an .eps editable file L1NYL , V1NYL AND LINYL

    I am saving up for the plate S1GNS does anyone know who has got this plate?
    Anyone got an interesting reg- tell us about it

    i purchased A1 51GNS and i think S1GNS sold for £21k at auction will look up the catalogue

    Steve I can’t understand why you are looking for the correct font for “L” reg motors, if you are going to edit the first “L” to make it look more like a “V” then it will be illegal anyway. Why not just use a block font such as ariel or helvetica.

    the obvious alternative is to change my name from Steve to Lional!! L1NYL
    its illegal alright so why do the DVLC make an absolute mint of of it all its as two faced as it gets!! 😥 (:) (:)

    no it wont steve. you paint the reflective strip then its run through a press which laminates it with the clear plastic face… 😀
