Car Rebuild
Ive noticed that alot of people on here are Car Enthusiasts much like myself and was wondering if there would be any interest from people to see the photo restoration of my 1986 Porsche 911?
I know its a sign forum and not a car one, but its in the OT section and all images will be hosted on Photobucket so it wont take up the sites resources.
Rob, let me know if this is ok, if not then no problem at all.

I would love to see the photos Paul……’86 so just before the G50 gearbox was introduced………..Ok I know I’m an anorak 😳

Yes mate, its got the extremely heavy clutch and nasty gearbox that makes you stall on a sunny day at a zebra crossing just as a nice young lady is crossing the road!!
So im told!
Ill wait for Rob to give the go ahead because it will involve alot of photos and be over 3 – 4 weeks.

Paul I would love to see these pictures. Before starting sign making I had a full accident repair shop and I myself did many restorations, although I have misplace the hundreds of photos I had taken!!

Well Rob has very kindly given the go ahead to do the rebuild thread. I need to point out that this isnt being done solely by myself but by a body shop owned by a Friend. Im helping where possible but its a fair sized project so I needed a hand.
Ill start a new thread when I get to work on Thursday, criticism is very welcome.
Oh, and ill be making the side graphics myself.
