If making a sign "directors parking" does it need the be to the BS EN 12899-1:2007 standard?

The client hasnt requested reflective, and doesn’t need to be reflective.

    Hi David

No your sign doesn’t need to be manufactured following any special legislation.

The legislation you talk of only comes into effect for signs directing traffic as listed in the TSRGD 2002 traffic handbook e.g. 5 mph. Speed bump etc.

Always best to check as many still don’t realise that all such signs even on private land if fitted after July 2013 must be CE marked.

    Cheers Gill 🙂

Quoted on using 3mm ali rather than composite with channel and clips for peace of mind.
