I’m just setting up templates for my website for customers to upload images for printing onto canvas

Thing is there such a thing as standard canvas printing sizes? some sizes used over others for any reasons?

I have 10 sizes at the moment, 5 rectangle and 5 square 😮

How does other people work this?

    cheers 😎

Apart from A4, A3 etc. most stretcher bars come in 2" increments. The finished size is always going to be determined by the size and shape of the original. You can always set your own standard sizes and inform customers that some images may require cropping to fit the desired size.

I would work on standard photo sizes, scaled up of course, as that is what most people will send you, but do them to best fit your printer, l

Depends who you want to cater for. People who have compact SLR Cameras or Photographers shooting with digital SLR’s.

Example normal people 60cm by 45cm.
    Photographers 60cm by 40cm.

Pretty sure they are the ratios from memory.

    Hi Jason.
I am thinking of doing the same thing, do you have much of a call for it?? How do you manage to stretch the canvas tight enough.
