    My daughter has just been given a gift from a young lad she knows. We believe its in Spanish. Can you help….

    ‘Alles gute te’

    What does it mean in English.

    Think that might be German “all is good to you” may be

    I tried a translation web site and tried turning it from Spanish to English …. but nothing came up so I dont think it is Spanish? Perhaps Dave is right its German???

    This is quite a good translation website too, you can put up a little keyboard relevant to the country (so you get all the right accents etc.)

    with the “te” I think it means all the best.

    Firstly, it’s german.
    Secondly it means All is Good.
    Thirdly, if memory serves me “Tu” is personal speach. like is family members talking to each other as opposed to general conversation.

    Not sure if ‘tiger’ is the correct word, maybe cat, feline or …… I think I’ll stop there 😳

    I can’t say to much….she’s sitting next to me. If you call it a ‘big tiger’ up north, that’s fine.

    BTW ‘Black Pudding’ Ice Cream ….what next. I’m sure Andy will have something to say about that
