thx for the complement rob 😉 , i’ve not been around much lately, been a manic year.

Hi kev, as rob says i make neon signs, it would help if you could give me some idea of the sign you propose.

the main difference between a neon design and more traditional design,
is font choice, smaller signs generally use single line, which often don’t replicate a font very well. larger signs often use double outline, which follows the outline of the font.
consider what colours work together, neon only or backed up with vinyl/acrylic graphics.

if you can give me some more info, i’ll be glad to answer any questions you have.

    cheers craig

    😮

    Hi There.

I run a small neon company on the south coast and design my own neon signs. I agree with the last posting regards choosing neon colours that go together. To be fair most colours already go together in some form but if they don’t it can ruin the whole appearance of the sign.

Another good point—is make it simple. Some of my best neon signs are not to big and simple in design. Even though my business is neon signs i always recommend to my customers not to over do neon (i must be mad as i may lose work). Small and neat, as it looks like Las Vegas on speed.

And finally if you are sending the drawing to neon shop, it may help if the drawing are in reverse!!!!!!!

Hope this helps in some small way

    Regards
