can’t seem to open an eps file someone has sent
hey guys, calling on you lot to help me again!! i’m currently being sent some .eps files from a customer, they save ok, and when i iopen them up from my saved folder all i seem to get is like a jpeg/bitmap type picture, but…i only get a little part of the image too! this has happened before when someone has tried to send me .eps files via email. i’m using omega 2.1 saving the file thats sent to a document folder on my computer, going into omega and opening up the saved file through that. this is a new customer and a big job for us so don’t want to mess him about! can anyone suggest anything that i can try when opening up his file.

anyone have any suggestions?? just the customer has just sent me a further 20 .eps files!!!!!

The most likely thing is a corrupt file.
If you don’t mind emailing it to me I’ll see if it will open here.

great john, really appreciate that. yeah, the customer has just sent me several they need doing, some i already have on file so that ok! their a car dealership and need these asap(as usual!) can you send me your email address john?

Got them open.
Now just need to save in a format which you can use.
