    hi
as showing on the photo , all settings are same but the head speed

if test print after each print, the result is like the second photo ,

the black ink nearly doesnt fire at all.

after few power cleaning and leave around 2hrs, it is back to normal so we change the black damper , now black is fine in any head speed ,

But , same thing happen in light black now.

    any idea why ?

    thanks

Are you using aftermarket inks by any chance ?

I’ve just suffered a similar problem and after changing dampers, cleaning lines etc etc, it turned out to be just a bad batch of ink.

Colorific is exactly the same ink I was using that gave me my problem.

I bought some ink from signmaster, they claim it is the same chemical make up as the original and it cured me problem straight away.

I’ve yet to tell selectech but when they phone to sell me some more I shall let them know.

That does sound characteristic of a damper fault. If the K damper has failed it’s likely to be because the filter is blocked or the o ring is split or stretched. That being the case, it’s just as likely the others are going the same way.
