  • can multiple copies of signlab be able to run at same time?

Does anyone know if there is a way to have 2 copies of signlab open on the same machine at one time? We used to be able to do it, but after ‘upgrading’ to 7.1 we no longer can – this slows things down LOTS as you now can’t work on a layout while keeping the plotter busy. Well, you can but not as easily!

    Thanks

You need to have Multiple Instance ticked, it’s under the options menu.

I’ve got version 7 and that can have multiple copies open, I seem to remember that you could install a plotter que that takes over when you send to the cutter, that should free up the current window.

When you install Signlab I think it always defaults to being turned off, not sure why. If you speak to Bernie @ Cadlink he will tell you to leave it that way. Not quite sure why though? but he definitely doesn’t like it!
