I have a client who wants a magnetic sign 1m x 550mm with a lilac background, can I get away with covering ina polymeric 5 yr vinyl or do i need to go cast, has anyone covered mags entirely and do the vinyls crease after a while?

    John 😕

John, I cover magnetic all the time in polymeric. Oracal 551 or 651 works fine.

No problems with creasing, especially if stored flat.

Alo, save money by buying the magnetic without a coating. – just brown

Full coverage with Oracal 751,they’re 4ft long and these are stuck to a van that passes my shop every day & they still look as good as the first day they were made 😀 So yep, should work a treat!

    Cheers, Dewi

    John,
I have covered magnetics with Oracal 651,
    Calon II Hi-performance, rolled 1-Shot,
and even automotive paint (by a professional)
    with nary a problem.
Just make sure the person stores em on a fridge
or any flat metal surface when not in use.
    Love….Jill
