can i print flourescent colours? advice please.

Versa vp300 coredraw signlab or photoshopcustomer wants yellow fluorescent coloured letters to small to cut
any ideas welcomed thanks

You can’t – you need fluorescent ink.
But you can print onto fluorescent vinyl. Black print on fluorescent yellow vinyl works well and looks good.

Thanks for that yep have done that in the past worked fine but this individual wants it the other way round oh well

Can’t you print it negative then – black background?

yep thanks for that but what he really wanted was fluo outline on white letters, surrounded by a blue out line
not great but customer knows best

some of them are only 6mm high
have you tried cutting fluo vinyl that small ?

Sometimes you just have to say no!

if you create your text with a small outline just print the outline on fluorescent and you can contour cut on the versacam, would this noy be a solution to your problem.
The only thing I’ve found is that colours change when printing onto fluorescsent vinyl.

Jasons right. I think it would be very straightforward on an edge.
I’ve never printed fluorescent on mine but have printed white reflective to change the colour using translucent foils.
