    Hi Merry Christmas everyone,

I am going to upgrade my sign lab & have been looking to run this on two machines, I think this would need the design dongle.

Does that mean i can design something then save to a file share & access the file with the software on the other machine connected to the plotter.

Has anybody done this if so can you shed me some light.

    Cheers Phil

    Thats correct Phil.

Design save and open files in each install, but only cut from one.

This works very well, but be aware that ‘design’ has other limitations with exporting as well. Just so as you know!

If you ask Cadlink nicely exporting can be enabled on the design versions. In fact I think export is enabled nowadays on version 7.1 without the need to ask.

Thanks for that Brian, I’ll need to give them a shout when we get back. It’s never been a major issue but just a kind of niggling pain!
