Within the driver there is an option for printing, cutting and something else (can’t remember, not in front of me 😕 ) but you can switch off the printing function, and use it as a straight forward cutter. Alternatively, the graphic/text you wish to cut, don’t fill it with a solid, just use the contour cut setting on the outline of it. I know how to do this in SignLab and CorelDRAW, but wouldn’t have a clue with Flexisign. Presumably you’ll have done a kiss cut round an object before though, its the same idea, just that the object this time happens to be your text 😀

    Cheers, Dewi

Edit: There is a function within the PC60 driver for cutting by line type or line colour also. The preset for line colour is black and the preset for line type is something like 0.004 of an inch. These can be changed pretty easily, I use cut by line type as its much easy than any of the other options for me 😀

    No worries 😀

Btw, what is Flexisign like for printing/cutting with for the PC60? I’m currently using CorelDRAW as its the easiest way for me, all my graphics are originated in there anyway, so I just add a few extra lines for cutting and stickers come out of the machine 😀

How are you finding the PC60? Working out okay for you?

    Cheers, Dewi

Same here, even with a sign shop, its difficult to explain to the guys coming through the door exactly what it can do. Like everything else, samples need to be splashed about the place, but I should imagine it is 10 times harder without a dedicated display space 😕

    Cheers, Dewi

I presume you just use the cut (plot) instead of RIP and print
never tried it on a PC60, but I use the cut (plot) when cutting, RIP when printing.
