can anyone tell me will flexisign run a gerber?
The reason I am asking is because I found this on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … RK:MEWA:IT It looks very fishy, I reported it to ebay to try and save the poor sod who parts with his money a lot of grief, Its a private auction, so bidders cant be contacted. Ebay in ther wisdom just say the are investigating. What narks me is that a fraud does not take place untill the buyer finds out the goods dont exist, by then its to late. I asked the seller how old the gerbers are and if they run with flexisign ,Used once and yes was his reply
I know that most people wouldnt bid on this cos the seller wants cash by transfer and no pick up allowed!

Peter, that edge system has been on and off Ebay for a few weeks now. Looks iffy, don’t it? I know there are usually a few on there being sold out of Hong Kong or somewhere. No collection means you probably wouldn’t be able to go and view before bidding.

Flexi will run the gerber edge Version 6 and 7 definately i’ve printed to the edge from 6. Not sure about lower versions

budone, can you pm me regarding printing from flexi to an edge 2?
I’ve tried acouple of times but can’t seem to get acommunication between the 2 machines.

Darryl, dont no about flexisign but your parralell port needs to be set to ecp in the bios setting for the edge to work properly.

I’ve seen that ebay auction before – definate scam! (!) They couldn’t answer any questions that an owner/person holding the goods should know.
Regarding Flexi – Scanvecamiable.com has a site that would answer your questions.

I noticed the same – this was a couple of months ago. There’s always a few bad apples out there.
best way to double your money on this deal is to fold it and put it in your pocket.
