    Hi everyone :lol1:
I was wondering whether anybody could sort out a problem I’m having with a Graphtec FC2100-60a. It was cutting fine, and now all of a sudden it’s cutting slower than a snail. Was wondering if there was a known fault or whether I’m just jinxed.

    Cheers Mark

Have you accidentally pushed a few buttons and adjusted your cutting speed?

Check your manual to see how to adjust the speed

I need to replace the lcd screen, cause it cracked, so I can’t tell, but I’ve looked at the settings on the driver options on flexisign and they’re ok.

I think you’ll find you have to make the adjustment on the plotter itself in the settings mode

yeh i agree with john, more than likely the machine itself.
if its just the screen cracked and the display is still ok. “be careful” but ide unscrew the cover allowing you to veiw the screen, set it and put the cover back on.

No, it’s the actual screen that’s cracked. Can’t see nothing.

Cheers John and Rob, I pressed the speed option a couple of times and it’s fine. I’m going to have to get a new LCD though. Can’t see Nada!!

I cracked the screen on my Graphtec (dropped a role of vinyl on it doh!) fearing an expensive repair I rang Graphtec, the people there very, very helpful- part was in stock and arrived next day, I rang them and they talked me through the fitting (fairly easy even for me). This was in 2000 and the whole lot, part, VAT and carriage was £63.75 which I though was very reasonable compared to some bits you have to buy.
