    Hi
in the RIP, in troop its in production manager you have (from memory)
Draft, production and Fine or best, maybe able to do it on the machine from menu, I found the colour changes dramatically with the 3 quality modes so maybe printing your palette out with each mode will enable accurate matching 😉

    cheers

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I’m using Sign lab print and cut and Can’t find the production manager part. I’ve also looked through the menus on the machine itself.
    Any more ideas?

    Thanks
    Stuart

Have you installed the print/cut manager with signlab 7?
Insert your setup CD again, this time click just the print/cut manager (1st on menu) the other one is full installation.
This will install the manager and may locate it seperate on the windows menu, you may hae to set it up through print and cut wizard which is in the file menu

    cheers

I’ve got the print/cut manager installed. I’ve looked through everything and I still can’t find anything to change the setting – it all seams to be more to do with the design side of things rather than the device set up side.

Just in case you have’nt figured it out yet…

When you go to File – Print & Cut, you get a box with the name of the printer on. Just to the right of this is a small button with 3 dots on ‘…’

Click on this and all you printers settings become available to you.

    thanks for the reply mike.

I’ve clicked on the button with the 3 dots. It brings the print & cut set up window up but I can’t find anything to alter the settings. I’m probably looking for the wrong thing but I can’t seem to find anything with ‘fine, normal, best etc.. print settings?
