I need to read over the user manual properly.

Can any of you tell me how to cancel a cut run and have it stayed canceled without it starting again automatically.

Just to get this one weeded and taped up 2nite. 😳

    Its a graphtec Ce3000-60

Jimmy you need to turn the plotter off at the power, this will take the memory away.

Lynn I have found it in the users manual.

I thought that would work as well but after I was choosing roll feed one it was starting the job all over again redoing the cut over what I had done of the first cut. (hope that makes sense).

I found what to do in the users manual:

You have to clear the buffer which is what i’m gonna do to myself with a cup o tea before I try and cut this for sticking down 2 morrow. :lol1:

2 nite i,m gonna read this manual proper.

    tks

    Jimmy.

James when you find out let me know will you !!!!!!

I normally just switch the plotter off and then cancel the job in production manager before switching the plotter back on again.

Seems to work OK but I’m sure its not how you are suppose to do it.

there’s an option on the menu to clear the buffer which will stop the plotter re-cutting the job 🙂

    yep

    Like Neil says, Martin:

    Press ‘pause’. (on the graphtec)
Stop transmission of data form the computer.
Press ‘next’ or ‘previous’ until you get the ‘Clear buffer’ message.
Press ‘enter’ to enter the clear buffer menu( which consists of a ‘yes’, or ‘no’).
Use up and down to choose ‘yes’, or ‘no’ then ‘enter’ to clear, or just ‘next’ or ‘previous’ to clear the buffer automatically while moving right on to another settings menu.
