can anyone say if flexi cut and windows XP work together?
Just got myself a new computer with Windows XP installed, Flexi cut has been running on Win98 fine but having problems installing in XP
It saying hardware not installed i take this means the dongle, the dongle is plugged in. Had it to a computer shop that made up my new computer and they have the same problem.. HELP -

Seem to remember I had a similar problem with my Flexi Sign Pro 7.5 – possibly was OK before installing Service Pack 2. Think I had to do a few things but can’t fully remember.
The dongle comes up as an ‘aladdin key’ or ‘hasp key’. Have found one link – see below – but you could try google with key words .

If your dongle is a usb one and it probably uses HASP drivers, new computers and their chipsets no longer have HASP installed from new.
If I was at work I would send you the link to the website, but I’m home with a beer, try looking on scanvec amiables site or search for HASP drivers.

I think you need the hasp key driver.

your install disk will probably just have win98 drivers for the dongle, and
not Win XP.
