    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

I’m very new to Vinyl cutting. I have been using CorelDraw 10 for general drawing and design work for many years and am fairly used to it.

Artcut software came bundled with my recent cutter purchase.
Is it worth spending time getting to grips with Artcut or would it be better to stick to the familiar Corel or ditching both and going for something else.?

The driver options for the cutter are pretty basic- not surprising for a cheap machine. It doesn’t seem to be capable of of much in the way of the ‘advanced’ settings I have read about in these pages unless they are software features.
Can dedicated sign software such as Artcut do things like adjusting over-cut, off-set etc? some shapes, especially small lettering don’t always completely cut, making weeding a bit of a pain.
    Cheers.

    Hi Steve,
If your half decent with corel I would stay with that and export as eps then import into artcut. I only use artcut as a cutting program.

    Cheers John

Use them both. Most software does something the other can’t.
