can anyone help with this logo please?

I was thinking to use “her” colors only in a secondary element.
What you now have looks like a class between an 80’s movie and a redneck something-or-other.
(I don’t mean to sound like a snot!)
You have to go with what the customer asks for.
Usually I do one of what they want, and another of what I’d suggest.
99% of the time they will go for my idea.
With that name and that color scheme I’m sure the woman is trying to play on the name of the movie. But why?
I think of driftwood furniture as eclectic and elegant, not as sawn logs.
Here is my version.
She’ll probably go for the wood look anyway tho!

Hi Jill,

All I can say is WOW, your designs look great.

I had to use the wood look font as she picked it as it was called Driftwood!!

I agree that my design looks old hat, but I have done a few signs for these people, and not once has she picked anything other than her design…… until now.
