can anyone help with this logo design please?
hi all OK here’s the spec
i put some signs up a few months ago all went well and customer was over the moon any way things have gone very well for them in the last few months and they have been visited by some kind of marketing guy who wants to push forward and has come up with lots of ideas to make them more money any way this is where i come in ha ha they have ask me to come up with a logo for there company which is called croydon mots ltd ,i have been asked to come up with a logo that some how incorporates the sky line of croydon and to include the local church, this is to show the company is in Central croydon (all well and good if you know about sky lines in surrey ) any way after a weekend taking photos of the croydon skyline i have a vector of the sky line.
Now this is where i need the biggest amount of help from you guys i need help with the logo colour use and fonts is not a prob the only thing i want is to have the main logo lit with halo or built up letters so this would need to be thought about when we work on the fonts usedthe logo needs to be used on every thing from there main sign to letter heads
please please help with this if you can and have the time i have just started with 2 but have not done much in the way of logo design so not sure where to start

Here is what I came up with, Rich.
I dunno how to simulate the LED glow but it would be around
Croyden & MOT and also the skyline.
I forgot to write in “centre!”
(I was going for that Manhattan look)

Design something very close, but had problems logging on. Rob got it sorted now, but you beat me to it.

I was able to open it up no problems…what version of Illustrator are you running? I resaved it as a version 8 but I was having problems uploading it. I think it is a problem on my end. One thing you might want is to have Debbee convert the text to outlines otherwise if you don’t have that font it won’t show up the same.
