hi all, can anyone help please?

we have been sent some completed artwork on a disc from a customer, that we should be able to simply open, rip and print.

the file is an .eps and is 41meg when i try and open it in coreldraw 11 it just seems to lock the program up.

    any ideas?

    cheers

Most likely how is was created not all EPS will import if it’s from more recent software.

On many occasions I have to distill EPS files with Acrobat Distiller and import as a PDF if they have come from maybe a Mac or CS3 or something.

Can you post the eps file? I have CS3 and it might be able to open it. I can save it back to a previous version / alternate format that you can open. Just let me know.

whoa I just realized that you said the eps is 41 meg! What’s in it? Must be a very large bitmap image I would guess.

Here’s a free site that will let you upload large files (but less that 100mb) without signing up. If you want to upload it there just let me know. I can give you my e-mail address here at work if you don’t want to post a link location for the upload here on the boards.
