can anyone help with PDF saving in Signlab7.1 please?
Posted by Dave Bruce on December 4, 2007 at 2:59 pmCan anyone help me here, trying to avoid exporting/importing in to Corel to convert vinyl colours to cmyk to then publish to pdf for my trade printers to print from.
When I ‘publish to pdf’ in Signlab they are coming out RGB and (unlike Corel) there is no option to convert to CMYK.
Cheers
Dave

Are you using the RGB swatch in SL? try changing them to CMYK
Nick.

Nick, I use the vinyl palette then export to Corel and change there. Don’t see a RGB palette in Signlab, arg, wait a minute this is vinyl pro so guess there won’t be one.
Just had a look on print&cut nothing there either, or do you mean use the image icon and convert there?
Cheers

Try edit colour or the the Pantone to euro palette they are CMYK
Nick.

I can double click each colour used on the worksheet then change from RGB Oracal 751 etc to CMYK Oracal 751 etc but can’t see where to make CMYK the default.

Peter is that not just for printing the swatches from your own printer to check colours? It is only on Print&Cut I am on Vinyl Pro. (May be I should upgrade, Know anyone selling P&C) 😀
