    Hi David,

    • First off, do you have the Operator Manual with your machine? What do they recommend in there about hooking up your machine, or is there a web site that has the info.
    • Second, can you restate the manufacturer and model number of the machine.
    • In SignLab, you want to go File menu >> Install Cutting Devices. This will provide you with list of available machines. Just tick your machine and its device driver will be installed.
    • Once the driver has been installed, go Cut menu >> Plotting Defaults.
You want to click the Setup button, then Port tab, and then indicate the Port Location to which the machine is connected to your computer.
    • For tutorials about using SignLab, I would recommend the CADlink InfoSource site that is located here:

    http://www.cadlink.com/infoSource/nfo_tutMain.php

If after all this you still aren’t getting joy, then I would recommend contacting CADlink Tech Support.

    Cheers,

    Rod at CADlink
