can anyone help with Grenadier GFX colour problem?
Hi guys newbie here,
just wondering if any of you guys could help me with an issue i have with my grenadier, i’m trying to run 360 1 pass at high speed, to cut costs and time, but the Magenta keeps falling over, randomly.. is there anything i can do to resolve this issue, its mainly on paper. the machine is 2nd hand and i’ve had it now for 6 weeks… please help me… could it be the dampers/print heads.. or am i just trying to push the machine too hard.. thanks Lee 🙁

are you saying that it prints the magenta and then dissapears after about 30 seconds?
I have a JV3 and 360 1 pass is not good, although could be good enough to draft out sketches, albeit an expensive option.
All our printing is 540dpi (6 pass) or above.

its pretty random, on paper usually, which is obviously using more ink. i’m using wasaatch too which i’m not too familiar with..

i think its a known problem with magenta but the quality is so poor at that setting tried it once never again. i do use 2 pass for line drawings thou no fills.
