Help!!!! its been one of those weeks, My trusty little camm 1 cutter has finally gone bang so i’ve bitten the bullet and bought a jagIII 1320 cutter with signpal software, Its not compatible with my old software so lost shedloads of designs..anybody know if i can cut straight from corel x3 as a quick fix? if yes then do i have to make some sort of cut line like i did in versaworks? got 3 vans lined up for the weekend so not a happy boy at the mo. Also could anybody lend me a vw transporter outline (lwb) until i get hold of Brian, theres no way good old royal mail will deliver by the weekend even if i bought the impact disc today! Sorry if posted in wrong forum but a kick up the backside from the mods will hurt less than me banging my head against a wall!
    Thanks for any advice!

    Hi Steve

I have a Puma II (very similar I believe). That will cut fine direct from corel. All I did was install the driver direct off the disc. When cutting, I remove all colours and outline as 0.001mm. Then just send.

I found that if you dont remove the colours it tries to cut out the whole shape rather than just the outline!

    Hope that helps

    Hi Adrian

Thanks for that, I did wonder if it would try to cut the colours as in the print preview it just shows up as a shaded image. Is a hairline outline to thick to cut then? Wheres Nigel Pugh when i need him lol.

I do think the hairline setting is too thick. Use 0.001 on both my puma and the old CAMM-1 I have. Never used either machines through the sign pal software, just cut direct from corel.

Dont think the sign pal and dongle have ever been out the box!

Steve I have tried phoning, answer machine, sorry mate I cannot reply to any pm’s either.

Using Corel, as Adrian says, install print driver, then in Corel set line thickness as hairline / outline, check that the line thickness is no more than 0.001, then send to the cutter.

Steve if you cannot get hold of me then just ask for our tech dept and they will (should) help you out.
