  • Can anyone help please with cutting fonts in corel?

    Hi,

I wondered if anyone can help me please. Im producing a banner on white banner material with black banner vinyl. Most of the text is solid black text …easy peasy!

my problem lies with two letters which are the same font but to the eye look like white text with a narrow black border (when against the white banner)

my problem is that the cutter stills cut a solid letter which is no use. Is there an option in either illustrator or corel 12 which will allow me to create a cuttable letter. Ie: is there a weed border type function which will allow me to weed away the centre of the letter to leave a very narrow black border which when applied to the white banner looks like a white letter with a black border ?

Jeez Im confusing myself here, its been a long day!!!

    Any help appreciated.

    cheers
    graeme

Its because there is only one cut line… Draw a letter in corel 12 put on you black outline thickness, then convert outline to object.. you now have a letter with two cut lines..

    Hope that makes sence
