can anyone help please with corel X3 update problems?
Having just patched and updated X3 to the latest versions from the Corel site I now find that many of my larger legacy files don’t open and lock up X3 as does trying to open most pdf files.
I am now looking at either rolling back to a restore point or reinstalling from discs to correct this. Has anyone else experienced these problems with the X3 updates?

Updating should pose no problem but before you consider reinstall, save you workspace if it has been customised, close Corel, restard Draw with F8 pressed and accept the default workspace, try opening your file if ok re-import your old workspace.
Corel can get a corrupt workspace especially if importing outside files which fail and an F8 reset can cure many issues.

Glad you’re sorted Colin for future reference F8 on start up is well worth knowing and is relevant for some earlier versions as well.
