can anyone help please file wont open in corel?
hi, desperate !!
just created a file, all was well when i opened it earlier, but when i saved it with the vehicle outline included, and tried to open it again, it wouldn’t open,
error message….
error reading C\ blah blah… cdr.
followed by
cannot import an empty file.
any ideas ? i’ve already redesigned it, and can do again, but i’m wondering if there’s a way to do it, the back-up files don’t help either, i’m wondering if the outline is somehow corrupting it.

Sounds strange. Until you figure out what went sour, switch on the auto backup settings.
- Tools menu >> Options.
- Go Workspace >> Save.
- Tick the "Make backup on save" checkbox.
If you see this happen again, then make a copy of both original and backup copies, which can then be used for comparison.

hi rod, sorted now as i’ve redrawn the artwork, but not included the outline, guess is must be corrupt !
re back-up, the auto-back up is on, but i guess that gets corrupted too, as it saves the same date.
